Resort Policy
Salmon Point Resort strives to provide a clean, quiet, safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all of our guests.
To that end, the following rules have been established.
RV SITES All units must back-in except where designated. Services are along the back. 1 camping unit, 1 passenger vehicle and max. 5 people per site. Boat trailer parking is available free of charge. All Lighthouse sites are for self-contained units. (This means you must be able to hook-up to the services). Please do not walk through occupied sites.
TENTS Maximum 5 persons at all designated tent sites and a maximum tent size of 120 square feet. There is a designated area for RV’s wishing to have a small tent on site for children, maximum tent size allowed is 64 square feet.
PICNIC SHELTERS are to be a maximum size of 10 feet x 10 feet. They are not permitted on Lighthouse Beachfront berm. No Walls!
MARINA We recommend 6' of tide to launch and 5' of tide to access the marina. For your own safety and convenience please check tides before leaving to ensure there’s enough water for your return into the marina. Moorage runs concurrently with your reservation. Only boat owners are allowed in the marina. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
PETS Pets are welcome providing that they are kept on a leash at all times, cleaned up after, and do not cause a disturbance to other guests. We're sorry, No Pitbulls or Pitbull cross breeds are permitted.
VISITORS All visitors of guests must register in the office. They do not have
use of the facilities and must vacate the property by 10:00 pm. Please have your visitors leave their pets at home.
BIKES, SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS, ETC. Please keep to the paved roads only.
FIRES Wood burning campfires are restricted to Lighthouse area ‘beachfront’ sites only and are not allowed at any other sites within the park. Community firepits are provided for your enjoyment. All fire pits within the park are restricted to burning seasoned wood only. Driftwood often contains elements that give off noxious fumes. Portable Propane fire pits are welcome throughout the park with the exception of the walk in wooded tent sites, no fires are permitted there. Please do not leave any fires unattended.
EARLY DEPARTURES No refunds or credits will be given for late arrivals or early departures for any reason.
GARBAGE Please secure all garbage before putting into bins. Dispose of seafood waste in the buckets located at the fish cleaning tables.
SWIMMING POOL The pool and hot tub are for REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY! Open mid May through mid September. Warning! No Lifeguard on duty! No food or drinks are allowed in pool area. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
HOT TUB Is for ADULTS only. Persons under 16 are not permitted with or without an adult as per Vancouver Island Health regulations. Please shower before using.
DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOURS that cause disturbance to other guests, such as tobacco or cannabis use, loud music or excessive outdoor lighting, will not be tolerated on Salmon Point Resort Property.

Check-out is at 11:00am
Parents are responsible for the conduct, behaviour and control of their children and are financially responsible for all damages.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations incur a minimum charge. Please review the cancellation policy related to your type of booking as listed below.
RV Site Cancellation Policy for Bookings of Up To 14 Nights Reservations cancelled up to 14 days in advance of arrival will incur a $50 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days before arrival will forfeit the full amount.
RV Site Cancellation Policy for Bookings of More Than 14 Nights Reservations cancelled up to 30 days before arrival will incur a $100 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled less than 30 days before arrival will forfeit the full amount.
Accommodation Unit Cancellation Policy Reservations cancelled up to 30 days before arrival will incur a $100 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled less than 30 days before arrival will forfeit the full amount.
